Bloomberg Investigates | Bloomberg Originals

As Producer, I transformed a Bloomberg-published article on a financial crime investigation into an interview-driven narrative for Bloomberg Originals. I reverse-engineered a shooting script, booked contributors, directed and conducted interviews, conceptualized emotive scenes without actors, directed drone shoots, and shaped picture, pacing, and score in the edit. I owned every stage of production.

The Result: The piece exceeded their typical viewership by more than 300% and maintained an above-average watch time. 93% of views were driven by YouTube’s homepage and suggested video recommendations.

Pandemic: COVID-19 | Discovery & Science

As Field Producer, I traveled across the United States in March 2020, at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. I interviewed epidemiologists and virologists and guided them in translating complex and rapidly evolving science into accurate and digestible explanations for a general audience.

The Result: A one-hour documentary special that simulcast on Discovery Channel and Science Channel in prime time on March 25, 2020. It was one of the first major COVID-19 documentaries to air as the pandemic was breaking and accelerating in the U.S.

How It Really Happened | HLN

As Field Producer for this series, I traveled to London on short notice to interview CNN Chief International Anchor Christiane Amanpour about her friendship with JFK Jr. Under tight time constraints, I secured personal anecdotes from one of the world's most respected journalists.

The Result: The series was described by HLN as "highly-rated" and "broke new ground for the network in primetime, and paved the way for its new lineup of internally and externally produced programming..." The series was renewed for a second season. [Source: CNN Press Room]

Shattered | Investigation Discovery (ID)

As Supervising Producer, I revised scripts, scripted re-creation sequences, and provided direction and feedback to the graphics team across four episodes with cascading edit schedules. Collaborating with two editors on story structure, pacing, and score, I maintained deadlines across all episodes.

The Result: The season averaged 1.21 million overall viewers per episode and was renewed for a third season.

As Post Producer, I wrote scripts and shaped two personal, evocative, and journalistically sound true crime stories.

The Result: One of the episodes, linked below, was selected as the season premiere.
